Reporting to the General Manager, this role encompasses various responsibilities including elements of commercial property management. Candidate must be a self-starter and work in a fast-paced environment. Duties include maintaining tenant relationships and communication, social media marketing and event planning, basic accounting, budgeting and purchasing and assisting leasing agents. Previous experience in commercial property management would be an asset.
Responsibilities:
Maintain relationships with tenants, service providers, contractors, leasing agents and all other individuals associated with operations at the properties.
Create and implement a social media marketing and yearly event plan.
Source and create databases for community and business relations.
Work with the Property Manager on implementing property strategies, which might include but will not be limited to attending meetings, community outreach and tenant relations.
Prepare presentation packages for property tours, client meetings and property reporting.
Update and maintain leasing databases of brokers of the area
Coordinate email blasts to the brokerage community on a required basis.
Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related objectives as determined by ownership.
In person/ in office daily attendance.
Face to face meetings with tenants, management, and vendors.
Occasional travel around the Prince Albert area may be required.
Required Skills:
The candidate must be a good communicator and have good interpersonal skills while promoting teamwork.
The candidate must be highly motivated, hands-on and a self-starter.
Candidates must have strong computer skills including comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to integrate social media to accomplish ownership objectives.
The candidate must be results oriented and enjoy challenges.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have applicable secondary education.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe, Canva, PowerPoint, Linked In, facebook and Instagram.
Ability to manage tight timelines and multiple priorities.
Excellent customer management and relationship skills.
Ability to easily connect with others.
Strong team and relationship building attitude.
Residential, retail, or commercial property management experience is a plus.
